Hello. My name is John Devine and I'll be your Menorca Walking Holidays walking guide. I've lived on Menorca with my family for over 9 years and love every aspect of it's landscape and culture.

We originally came to live here following a stressful business life in England. I spent most of my first year here exploring and discovering everything about Menorca that I could. I also went to night school, where I've learnt the local Menorcan language to a level of near fluency. This has stood me in great stead when trying to negotiate right of passage across the occasional Menorcan farmer's field.

What started as a hobby, became an all consuming passion and finally a business. Carolyn, my wife, and I started Menorca Walking Holidays 8 years ago and during the interim period have welcomed over 1200 guests to Menorca. Along with the walking itself, I enjoy a chat and a joke with our walkers, who always have some sort of story to tell, helping to keep me in touch with what's going on in the UK. It goes without saying, that I also enjoy the leisurely Mediterranean lunches that we take at the end of each walk.
