Accommodation to be enjoyed not endured

Our Mallorca walking guests stay at the fabulous 4 star Ca'n Verdera hotel, right in the heart of the stunning mountain village of Fornalutx. The 150 year old, 3 story, boutique style hotel is hidden away behind a stone façade. This hides a tranquil garden, with fountains and a swimming pool amidst orange and lemon trees, along with colourful hibiscus flowers. The hotel prides itself on friendly, discreet service and attention to detail.



With just 11 rooms, it's a perfect place to relax and chill out after our day's activities. The rooms are all unique, comfortably furnished, air conditioned and all have wi-fi. Some of them have views out onto the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range and others look out onto the pretty cobbled streets below. There is a lovely vine-covered terrace overlooking the valley, where a wonderful breakfast is served when the weather is fine.

Fornalutx is widely regarded as one of Spain's prettiest and most distinctive villages. Overlooked by Mallorca's highest point, it is set in an orchard filled valley at the heart of the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range. This beautifully conserved, traditional mountain village has won many prizes over the years and its charms are a plenty. The narrow cobbled streets lined with many pot plants, the ancient stone houses and wonderful views in all directions make the village an enchanting place to stay. The quaint village square, with its few small shops, bars and restaurants make a perfect vantage point to watch the world go by.
