Your Week's Holiday on Mallorca

In order to help you plan and look forward to your walking holiday with us on Mallorca, here's a day by day guide of what to expect during your time with us.

Day 1 - You'll be personally met at Palma airport and driven the 45 minutes to the hotel. There, you are settled into your room and made comfortable with your surroundings. A first night tapas supper is taken at around 8.30pm and is a great opportunity for you to get to know the group and for me to fill you in on your week ahead.

Port of Soller, Mallorca

Day 2 - After breakfast, we start our walk from the hotel and climb to a fantastic viewing point, where we look out across the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range. From here we walk across country and downhill to the Port of Soller.

Cala Tuent, Mallorca

Day 3 - Today we start our walk from the beautiful Cala Tuent, which is on the north coast of Mallorca and about an hours drive from the hotel. The first part of the walk takes place along the cliffs and offers amazing views of the crystal blue Mediterranean below. After about an hours walking, we head into the mountains and eventually arrive at a 300 year old farmhouse where we stop for refreshments. We than have a slight uphill walk for around an hour and a half, where our coach is waiting for us.

Deia, Mallorca.

Day 4 - After breakfast we take the coach to the edges of the picture postcard village of Deia. Today's walk is the shortest of the week and takes place through lush green pine forests that offer tantilising views of the sea which is on our left hand side. We take tea and biscuits next to the ruin of an old chapel, before continuing on to Soller.

Soller train to Palma

Day 5 - Today is a non walking day and an early start in order to visit Mallorca's capital city, Palma. We arrive there on the famous Tren de Soller, which passes right through the middle of the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range. After a short guided tour, we leave you alone to enjoy a day strolling, shopping or just taking in the general hubbub of this beautiful city. We catch the 3.15pm train back to Soller. (This trip is included in the price of your holiday.)

Lake Cuber, Mallorca

Day 6 - Today we take the coach to the start of our walk, the reservoir of Cuber, which is about a 25 minute drive from the hotel. From here we walk back to Fornalutx through the spectacular barranc (gorge) of Biniaraix. On route, we pass through the picture postcard village of Biniaraix, before arriving in Fornalutx and our hotel.

Mallorcan Chapel

Day 7 - Our last day's walking is the only circular offering. We start and finish our walk from the hotel in Fornalutx. From here, we walk to the edge of Soller before climbing up towards an old, but still in use, chapel where we take tea and biscuits. We then continue our climb to a viewing point that looks out towards the sea and offers yet more spectacular views. Then it's all downhill to Fornalutx and the hotel.

Day 8 - We take you personally to the airport in good time to catch your flight home.
