We are delighted to announce that our 2012 Catalonia walking holiday guests will be staying at the fabulous Masia El Prat country house for the duration of their time with us.Situated right in the heart of the Sant Llorenç National Park and only 150 meters from the peaceful village of Rocafort, Masia El Prat is the perfect backdrop for your walking holiday in Catalonia. The oldest part of the building dates back to the 14th centruy and the whole property is built from local stone, which gives a wonderfully rustic feel from outside. The accommodation is in two parts, which are separated by a small courtyard. The first and oldest part of the accommodation, known as the Arches, consists of 7 large en suite bedrooms, all of which have wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Just across the courtyard there are 4 more en suite bedrooms in a part of the building that was used for producing wine until the 19th century.In the bigger block there is a grand dining room where we take supper each evening, along with a small games room on the first floor. Best news of all is the small outdoor heated swimming pool, placed conveniently between the two accommodation blocks.
