About Menorca: The Setting for your Walking Holiday

Make an enquiry Book Now Menorca Walking Holidays

The delightful Balearic Island of Menorca could have been made for Walking Holidays. As a largely undiscovered island, it has retained a charm and beauty that many parts of mainland Spain have long since forgotten.

On Menorca there are literally hundreds of small hidden coves, many accessible only on foot, with backdrops normally consisting of lush green hills or lightly scented pine forests. Many of our guests describe the scenery as being similar to Cornwall or Devon in the summer.

Menorca is also rich in history, with evidence of Talayotic, Roman, Muslim, French and English occupations waiting to be discovered.

Because of its climate and landscape, Menorca forms part of the bird migration south. This, along with a number of endemic species, also makes the Biosphere of Menorca a bird watchers paradise at certain times of year.

To make your holiday more enjoyable you may wish to find out more about Menorca before you come. Also, our guides are bilingual, but is always fun to learn a little Spanish before you come to get the maximum enjoyment from your walking experience.
